Yggdrasil by fenix42 Yggdrasil by fenix42
EDIT: I rescanned this with my new scanner. Still had to stitch it together since its bigger than my scanner, so there is some blurring in parts, although that should only be visible on the full size download.

Oh and did I mention, DOWNLOAD to see DETAIL :)

This is nice   It just so happens I'm working on a multiverse world where there's a system of wormholes leading to nine planes or planes with these names.

Ha! Wow! What I cool interpretation! I never imagined the worlds wrapped up in the roots like that. Or perhaps it is supposed to be that way. I can't remember! Anyway, really cool!

Hello, a few weeks ago I had to make an ilustration of the yggdrassil, and along with many others, I found your work very inspiring for creating my own vision od the tree, so I wanted to thank you. Ive been cheking the rest of your work and some of your drawings are just beautiful, nice work !

And I would name this; The environments of the world~ Basically the tree is life and not just creates, but supports all of nature, but as well all the different possible environments including those that lack life (the frosty lands), but are still a part of the cycle. Very interesting work overall ^^

Love it, one of my favourite renditions of Yggdarsil and the nine realms.
Can I use this as a cover art for my fanfiction Ragnarok?

on fanfiction.net : [link] (It's also here, but ff.net is where I will be using it as cover art.)

Would you be OK if I ever used this picture as a foundation for a tattoo??? :O Would feel bad if just doing it without asking.

You've got my approval as long as you send me a picture once you get it!

..I've had people ask me this in the past and they either never end up getting it or never show me. So that's all I ask in return :)

I've been researching Norse mythology lately. I've found it hard to find legit illustrations of Yggdrasil. So this helps a lot!

Thank you very much. And no, I'm not going to use this without your permission or anything...

The simple version is that they are the two groups of norse gods (both are "good" gods, which eventually team up together for Ragnarok)

Nice art! I would like to ask for permission if it's okay to have your art be part of my list on my site? I am looking forward to feature some great gods and goddesses on my site. You can check out my site here, at the bottom. Of course I'll put a credit that this is your own art. :)
Hope you'll agree! \(^_^)/
